So, Rory dies? For real this time? Just speculating.

What and then Amy blames the Doctor and leaves?

I don't think they will kill Rory, but they may 'do a rose' and abandon/maroon him somewhere and so Amy leaves. It was mentioned in the first episode that Rory had waited around for 2000 years for Amy, yes it was a throwaway line but then it was a Moffat episode so there are no throwaway lines.
If Rory were to get "Angeled" when would he end up and could there be a reason the Doctor can't save him?

I always get the feeling that the writers leave as many possible scenarios open as possible. They probably haven't decided what's happening for the entire next 3 series already.

A throwaway line?!? You don't recall when Rory was the Roman Centurion and he did actually wait for Amy for 2000 years, then? I think if someone dies, it deserves to be Rory. Not because I don't like him, I actually think he's had a far better story arc than Amy, but all his previous deaths have been leading to a more permanent finale, in my opinion. Mark

I absolutely remember Centurion Rory, I simply meant that the line was part of the argument about who loves who more, and was played very off the cuff. Typical for SM to use a seemingly throwaway line to remind everyone about Rory's commitment to Amy just a few episodes prior to separating them seemingly forever?

Bugger! Missed it.
Waiting for iPlayer to list it.

Just seen the first five minutes and the hairs on the back of my neck are standing up! They really do freak me out. Of course, immediately after the title sequence, iplayer starts buffering every thirty f***ing seconds; and there's no download option yet! I'm going to watch it later - I'm not having iPlayer spoil it for me.

You know, Americans get 20+ episodes per season of a given sci-fi series.
We get five.

To be honest, generally I prefer they way we do it. Very few American genre shows actually manage to maintain a good standard throughout a whole season. If they binned say 5 or 6 episodes each year, they'd actually be better for it.

I was under the impression that this series was like the last one, i.e. split in half. There should be another 4 or 5 episodes later in the year/early next year along with the new companion.
