It's just the pressure gauge off the top of a compressed gas canister, not a Submarine depth gauge IMO.

thats what I was thinking too  was my initial thought being off a sub due to it being near the other naval pieces ah well _________________

I see this sort of thing in my Facebook feed all the time, as my sister-in-law-to-be is a rather good bodypainter and is always using my bro as a model. I've barely said two words to her ever, as me and my little bro barely speak and I found out he was engaged via Facebook. So I don't normall look at these. BUT.... I figured you guys would appreciate how awesome this is:
