That's genuinely brilliant, but I'm thinking 'out and about with MP3 player' :)

I wonder whether we should have a proper war on home soil. It would potentially mean a return to rationing food, money etc. It would also mean patients wouldn't bother the doctor for trivial problems because there were more important things to focus on.

I think they should bring in a 'stupidity jar'. May make people think twice before whinging.

I wish! I have that much more weight to lose in the 2-3 months before I can have my gall bladder out....unless I go yellow in the meantime :(

Hoping they find this missing girl soon. It's weird hearing and seeing such news about the town. There has been a huge turnout of 4x4 type vehicles this morning and there is very much a police presence in the town. I was almost denied access to work yesterday as the garage where the land rover was found is just behind my office.

Being closely connected to front page news is pretty surreal, in my (limited) experience.

I have absolutely no sleeping pattern. Yesterday woke up at 1.40 am, this morning 4.40 am. Only a couple more hours before beddy byes for me. No idea when I will wake next.
