Apparently the system that stops his visor icing up isn't functioning as they'd expect. I wonder if they'll say 'sod it' and jump anyway. It's not as he needs to see where he's going for most of it...

He's out and falling!

730mph! At the altitude he was at, that is technically supersonic. Dunno if they can prove it though.

He's now on the ground and looks OK.

youtube just updated the viewer count, almost 8,000,000 concurrents :O

*EDIT* stream keeps dropping out for me, i think he just touched down though. that was awesome to watch :D

Down to 6,013,940 for me and it's buffering a lot. I wonder if it's the network flaking out :lol:

Yeah I was watching that. He never went much over 1rps though.

I can't help thinking the "bunny hop" was a rather low-tech solution to reducing the chance of spin!
