Favourite Director?

After reading up on the latest Tim Burton film it got me thinking on who's my favourite director. I don't think I can choose a number one but I can easily come up with top 3

Tim Burton
Quentin Tarrantino
Billy Wilder

Am sure there would be more to add to the list if I had a good think. Comments and contributions welcome then I might put together a poll.

To be honest I don't tend to think about who the director was. It's only when it's pointed out or I notice a similar style.
