David Cameron may have lost his charm to a few of his MPs, but he retains more public appeal than some much-vaunted television “personalities”.
The Conservatives’ party political broadcast last week won higher ratings than The Jonathan Ross Show.
The Prime Minister’s propaganda bulletin, on Wednesday, attracted 3.13million viewers. Ross’s chat show, which was aired on Saturday evening on ITV and featured guests including his chum David Walliams and the singer Charlotte Church, was watched by 3.12million.
Last month, Ross’s ratings plunged below 2million for the first time.

Both are over rated.

Is that a recognised medical condition?

Considering who is asking I would say yes.

Does anyone else find it incredibly unlikely that a PPB got that many viewers? :?

It might be that 3.13 million took the chance to go to the loo when the PPB was on.

There was a party political broadcast?

Pity I missed it. I love the opportunity to hurl even more abuse and hard objects at my TV.

As a one-off, yearly event, the audiences for the propaganda show was a little bit pitiful.
Jonathan Ross gets that many viewers on a regular basis.

This story just highlights what a massive FAIL politics is at the moment.

I agree about the massive fail of politics. Also such low figures for Jonathon Ross for a peak time show are not good.

Is Ross not on later now or is it a repeat I've caught?

Peak time on a Saturday night is not what it once was.

Audiences have so much more choice nowadays. If they are not happy with the options there is always the DVD or the pub.
