Obituary of the last remaining Battle of Britain spitfire pilot, who died two days ago.

Erm, I think there are still a few of the Few still with us.

The article refers to FL Lt Walker as being the oldest surviving Battle of Britain veteran, not the last one ever.

You'd have to assume absolutely the youngest spitfire pilot to fly in 1940 would be at least well, 85 by now? Nearer 90 probably...

I believe the youngest to fly was 19 in 1940. He'd be 91 now.
