I see a couple of the people who make up the main scientific board have also resigned. If I was them I would if ANY tremour is detected make a statement saying that "There is a likelyhood that this tremour might be the precurser to a Magnitue 9+ quake" After they have issued that a few thousnad times everyone will ignore all thier warnings

This, along with the decision to charge the guy who organised the fireworks display over the M5 crash, are two of the most ridiculous legal decisions I've seen this year.

To some extent I can see the reason for charging the fireworks guy. Though was he given council approval at that site. Also the drivers failed to follow the highway code.
