Why don't you do a "fave director" poll thing? Like I did with the Chocolate poll, and HK did with the theme tune one?
Break them down so you have say five directors per round, with say five rounds (so 25 directors) and top three from each round go through. Or something like that. We'd have a weekly game and it'd be something to look forward to.

5 Directors per week gives us 2 quarter finals of 4, and then we could eliminate 2 to have a final head to head. Get to it, Caz! (8-p)

Have added Lucas That did cross my mind. If someone wants to put together the groups of 4/5 I will happily do it. I didn't feel confident on which ones to pick
