Just watched Newsnight. I can't help feeling they bottled it somewhat.

Yes there are clearly a load more that will get caught up in the North Wales chile abuse cases and the fact that the police seemed complicit is going to look bad for everyone. There needs to be a serious and determined investigation to put people in gaol for a very long time.

Almost waking up. Was wide awake when the insomnia faries hit at around 03:30 but have taken the best part of two hours to a stage where I'm still not quite 'with it'. I think a quiet day might be in order......

That the Japs are even crazier than I thought, basing decisions on blood type. You name it - relationships, business, commercial products... People even get bullied because they're in a particular minority in that sense

Mum was rushed to hospital last night with abdominal aortic aneurysm. She's had an emergency op at Southend Hospital and is now sedated. We've had to decamp to the seaside town as she didn't want me driving back and forth. So far so good and she's stable. She's not out the woods yet so keeping fingers toes and eyes crossed.

I guess the cloaked one should know about this.

Bye for now peeps

It's difficult to type with crossed fingers, but once I stop I'll be crossing everything for you.
