They really got stuck into the newspapers on HIGNFY tonight re Savile. They were right to IMO, but the BBC still has questions to answer...

I saw that as well. The press knew just as much as the BBC did and they did not break the story. There may simply have been a lack of evidence to show without getting sued by Saville for slander. The fact that Newsnight even attempted to cover the story shows that they were not covering it up. The fact that at the end it was not shown for editorial reasons does not look good but is not enough for a conspiracy.

Saw the first episode of Good Cop last night. A lot more violent than I thought it would be but I enjoyed it. May watch the 2nd one tonight.

Not giving anything away, apparently it ends really strangely.

Yeah, without any spoilers, I was a slightly disappointed. I wondered if it had been edited down in parts due to recent events?

The first week on the rig, there was nobody in the TV room at 3am so I could watch Air Crash Investigation.
This week there's always been people in there watching [LIFTED].
Here's hoping it's empty again tonight.

Anyone watch the last episode of The Thick of It last night?

Malcolm's description of his job was a bit unsettling but rather plausible I thought and Glens bit at the end was thoroughly enjoyable.

Is anyone else watching Lilyhammer?

I might have to give up on it; every time something resembling a crisis occurs, it's explained away with one line! :(
