You may have to emigrate because I suspect that's exactly what we're in for although with some luck it'll just be the papers. I wouldn't hold my breath though.

Indeed, she wasn't even the one who gave out the information, she just answered the phone. By the sounds of it the Australian station has had several sponsors pull their advertising and the DJ's have been suspended or have taken a leave of absence. I suspect they won't have jobs for much longer in either case.

The advertisers are pulling ads and the DJ's have deleted their twitter accounts and "self suspended?" themselves. Apparently the station was already on probation for other pranks, so they could lose their license.

In the call they rang up pretending to be the queen and asked about Kate's health etc... As someone commented on the Daily Mail site. (A comment that has been removed). There was nothing in the call itself that would have caused this woman to kill herself. But the ridiculous amount of pressure she was put under by the media who got hold of this story and ran it front page for days might have done.

Sounds like the advertising was pulled from the wrong places then.
If the DJ tops himself presumably most of Fleet Street will be morally obliged to follow suit.
If I draw attention to the moral necessity this places on him, and all the journos top themselves, then of course I must follow.
So I caution you to think twice before saying what you are thinking of saying about me right now.
