Adverts could soon be following people around the different gadgets they use.

Although tracking ads follow people as they browse different websites, Drawbridge uses statistics to do the same across devices.

It gathers information on which gadgets are being used and what is being done with them to build up "anonymous" profiles of different users.

Yup - it’s that “track the users to target them with advertising” [LIFTED] again.

I have got far more security conscious. I have a cookie program that kills tracking cookies and all non favourites get deleted every minute. Then I have the do not track plug in for Safari.

This will cover mobile devices - phones, tablets etc.. As far as I am aware, this is harder to automate to your custom needs, if not impossible, on those.

Which is why I use the apps on my iPad, and rarely use the browser.

It's easy to block thing on PC's, but slightly less easy on mobile devices.

Exactly and why I only use the apps on my iPad if I can.
