How about the fact that killing children isn't something you do a quantitative analysis on? Jesus.

The fact the war is going on is terrible. For everyone stuck in that region, young or old - unless you consider the killing of adults is OK, that is. The fact people are being killed all the time America by nutters with guns is terrible. But to turn the death of children into a political football? Really?

That's... gross.

You really are talking bollocks.

The point being made is that the Americans don't quite so squeamish about other nations' children being killed.

Don't forget that anyone within a certain distance of a drone target is reclassified as a target not collateral damage.

The best way to deal with a bully is to point out that they wouldn't like it happening to them. The most effective time to point this out is when it has happened to them.

Bullies may be gross, but they're a fact of life that's best not ignored. Especially when it's on a planetary scale.

Your argument is valid. But unless you're a cold hearted, emotionally manipulative.. well I won't use the word I want to.., now is absolutely the worst moment to start making it. Apart from anything else, do you really think it's going to work, bringing up that argument now? Do you really think a society in the midst of mourning 20 innocent children is in the mood for a difficult geopolitical discussion and is at all likely to change it's mind?

Or is it perhaps better to wait until everything has calmed down and make it then, when you can actually draw the comparison without looking like you're trying to take cynical advantage of a tragedy?

I would imagine that in the US it is purely a numbers game with so many guns. It is literally only a matter of time before this is repeated somewhere else.

Armed with assault rifles and bullet proof jacket means hunting there must be dangerous if the deer fight back. /s

Though until they clean up politics and stop the overwhelming corruption of lobbying then then public will simply have to take their chances in their daily lives. Ban nearly all privately held arms and only allow regulated militias to have guns. Still complies with the constitution.

That looks like the police station attack in Terminator. Only missing the car being driven into the station.
