The rules:

* Voting occurs for one week until midnight on the 7th Jan.

* Please vote for your favourite three images.

* You cannot vote for your own image*

Your 1st choice will be awarded 5 points.
Your 2nd choice will be awarded 3 points.
Your 3rd choice will be awarded 1 point.

If there is a draw on say for example 15 points, then the image with the least number of votes will win, such that an image with 3 votes for 5 points will defeat the image with 5 votes for 3 points. It won't be the '2nd best' for everyone, but it will be the 'best' for the few. If it's good enough for a Grand Prix then it is good enough for here.

Please try and keep this thread for votes only, it will make it easier for me to tally up later. If you must comment on images and decisions then please do so in the original thread (once it is unlocked).

This thread will run for 1 week only. At that time the winner will have the option of choosing the next theme, and the deadline for entries to that theme will be the end of the current month.

I went to the effort to set it up and photograph it, wasn't happy and was going to do it again, then forgot. Spent xmas with the folks and remembered about it, so I was just going to submit one of the pics I wasn't happy with when I got back; and forgot, again!

It took a lot of thought to come up with nothing, but an xmas gift of a pack of cards gave me a last minute idea.
