If it's not the 'premium'/'extreme' series the speeds are painfully slow. Got a Sandisk Blade and its about the same speed using Crystal benchmarking software

Don't know if I mentioned but I've got a Cruzer Edge and it's painfully slow. To be fair it was cheap and it's not my main stick (got a much quicker and bigger OCZ Rally) but I wouldn't buy another.

Ah well, the main objective was capacity rather than speed (32GB is a bit of a step up from the only other stick I have - 512MB Verbatim). At the end of the day you get what you pay for.

THe official ones have the moulded bit for hanging it. I cut mine & filed it off. If you want one for the wall look at getting the resin one. More expensive but much heavier & comes in a box (so no hanger)

This one would have been fine if it had've been made right, but thanks for the resin tip *goes Googling*

QPAD MK-85 mechanical keyboard. Fully backlit, with Cherry red switches and N Key Rollover via USB, in mint condition. Some local chap bought it as a New/Other item cheap on ebay, without realising it had the German keycaps. I got it off him for £30 plus an old 160GB laptop drive, and blagged an OEM replacement UK keyset for £8 shipping. It sells for over £100 on Scan. It's lush.

That's the MK-50, which looks identical. The main differences are the lack of backlighting (expensive to implement) and NKRO is via PS2. I didn't buy it for games, although they are supposed to be better for gaming, I just wanted an nice board to type on.

Is it noisy? I had to give up my mechanical keyboard because the (detached) neighbours complained about the clattering at night.

That's impressive! Did your board have blue switches? They are Eighties loud. They are noisier than rubber domes, because it's very easy to bottom out MX Reds (and actuation is mid travel). I've fitted O rings to mine which, IMO, gives the best of both worlds. Another option is to get a board with MX Black switches, which have stiffer springs and are more difficult to bottom out if you have a stabby typing style; like me.

I've got the MK-50 Would be tempted to get a new one but the red/black switches aren't my thing for more typing than gaming, going to look at one with mx-brown switches next, probably a filco (or see how much a switch replacement kit costs) It was only when I got used to the actuation points the noise went down, even the reds are 'loud' to start with over the membrane one on most keyboards
