2. How feckin dim do you have to be to call your GP three hours after your relative became unconscious and you sat there for the three hours instead of calling 999?

Very.

That depends on the circumstances.

If large amounts of drugs and alcohol are involved in a party situation, then it's not that unusual for people to pass out for a few hours and then come around of their own accord. They'll feel like sh!te, but provided they haven't drowned in their own vomit they might be expected to live.

It's definitely not a situation in which you call 999 because then the police will turn up!

I should have added that this was an 80 year old man who was otherwise relatively fit and well.

French government talking of banning 3rd and 4th gen contraceptive pill for all users because of a few cases of DVT, without thinking of all the benefits for everybody else. I hope the UK guys don't hear of it :S

Oh FFS. It's been well known that the Pill has a risk of DVTs and that there are guidelines to follow in whom to be cautious and who should avoid the Pill. Basically if you're old or fat or have a family history.

Hold on doesn't age also act as its own contraceptive? ;)

My boss is going to get both barrels the next time I go through the office.
And if I don't like his response, I'll go to his boss and give him both barrels too!

In which case could women be helped with low dosage pills? What about HRT how will that be affected?

It's only 95% certain at the moment. If it gets to 100%, I'll let you know the details.
They have a lot of questions to answer though.

Don't forget being ugly, which some connect to body shape/size

You have clearly forgotten the two large brown paper bags solution to that problem.
