What a great way for the show to go out.

Mark

Didn't make it past the first half of the first series. I think I got as far as the British bloke trying to hang himself or something.

A Third Season Of Twin Peaks?

No thanks, TV's had it's fair share of 'making it up on the fly' bollocks in recent years (even if the first series is good).

I could have sworn I read somewhere that there was supposed to be a Top Gear Christmas Special, have been looking out for it but didn't see anything. Have I missed it, or was it not on?

It's on in March. 'Ambitious but rubbish'. New series starts end of this month, the 'special' is to be shown at the end of that.

It was intended by Team TG to be on over Xmas, I seem to remember Clarkson and May saying on Norton's talk show...

It is very good although the story seems to be conveniently stretched out to shoehorn in another series

I'm currently enjoying "Fringe" The Terry Gilliam-esque animation in a recent episode was inspired.

I've seen the trailers for it. It looks.. nowhere near as good as the old one frankly. It's decent enough and the guy playing the 'Jim Hacker' role is OK, but the guy playing the 'Sir Humphrey' role doesn't have it at all. He seems far too.. submissive. When Hawthorn played it, you got the feeling Sir Humphrey always thought he was the boss in the relationship, he was just too polite to say so. This guy doesn't seem to know. I don't know if that's the actor or the script but it just doesn't capture it right at all.

I love fringe, shame its the last season.

I think Fringe, Dexter, Homeland and The Walking Dead are great US TV series
