Flashdance - the lyrics belong in some sort of cheese museum, but the build-up is great :)

The latest mix of our contribution to the White Dolemite fake soundtrack album "Come And Taste A Little Bit Of The Salt In Me".

More details here. (maybe NSFW).

Still needs a bit more work but it's almost there.

I'm not exactly a newbie...

I used to be better known as "artworker" back in the days of the MacUser forums. I joined up here pretty much at the beginning, but stuck with MU until they packed the forums up. As that co-incided with getting made redundant from my graphics job, I didn't really have much time for the forums.

For the last few years I've been freelancing doing artwork and interactive stuff and concentrating on writing, recording and playing with my latest band (Dick Venom & The Terrortones) together, which has turned out to be rather successful. It's not reached the stage where it's generating any extra income, but we are just about self-sufficient with the money we make gigging, and from CD and other merchandise sales. We're currently working on the follow-up to our "VampireMan" EP which was released last year, and you can catch us playing somewhere in the UK most weekends.

So that's me.
