Morning

Happy new year. After a relaxing couple of weeks at home back to reality on this grey and gloomy Monday morning.

Sideways and onwards

Morning all. Again.

One of my 500GB drives appears to have died. DOH! :(

Oh well, have a great day everyone.

Morning world.

Hard drives, eh? They are something we have grown to rely upon, yet we must have multiple versions of them with umpteen backups of data in case they die. I'm getting paranoid about hard drives here. I never have enough space, no drives big enough, where do I put all this ever-growing digital cr@p? My first Mac had 8MB of RAM and a 40MB hard drive. Today, a single frame from my digital camera swallows nearly 25MB, and even 8GB of RAM is insufficient for many tasks. Are we going backwards?

And breathe.

:D

Morning all. First decent night's sleep in, well, actually a couple of weeks. Feeling slightly more human this morning!

Morning

Brain seems to be working better today. A good nights sleep helped.

Now trying to work out the new PO system. Joyz

Greetings.

I haven't given a Penny-puss update recently, so here's the situation. Before Christmas she had injections of antibiotics and steroids, mainly to avoid the vagaries of trying to give her medication by mouth. It took a couple of weeks, but her tummy seems to have settled. It's not completely right, but it's way better than it has been. She's also been kept in, so we can keep an eye on her to monitor progress.

Yesterday, we went for a follow-up treatment. The vet was really pleased with Penny's progress. Another steroid and antibiotic shot, a nice long chat about how things look like they'll pan out, and we'll take Pingles back in another three weeks or so. It's obvious she'll never be 100% again, it's now more a case of maintaining a quality of life until her spring winds down completely. On the basis of current progress, that may be a while yet. :)

In other news, onwards and sideways.

Despite what it may look like, I'm definitely not in work this morning as I'd booked it off as holiday, obviously. It's just a very similar looking chap who's sat at my desk...

Morning all,

For the last few nights I have been waking up at 12:23. No idea why, but it's exactly the same time every night. Strange. :?

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Moning

LOL listening to radio and they're talking about being unfaithful.... but with using different hairdressers rather than cheating. I must admit I've seen the same lady for the last 22 years. I occasionally think oh I'll try someone else but then my hairdresser will know when I go back :D
