I saw this on an environmental website last year. It looks good, only problem for me is that I do not have a thermostat in my flat. I love the feature to adjust from the iPhone.

Well since I already have one and cannot change for a couple of years I am not interested. Though I suspect that this is aimed at lower income countries.

Clearly you are joking but I do not think that Apple even need to compete with Android on price, which is why they are doing the cheaper iPhone and iPads.

I've been half-heartedly planning to make one, but as alluded to in the article I'd have to figure out some way to power it. The existing wiring provides no power, and it would be hard to make something that smart run from batteries.

It's one of the few instances were I found the design appealing enough to take an interest :lol:
