I've posted this in Mac Software, but it also affects Windows users of CS6 as well.
Just a friendly warning for anyone using Adobe CS6 software - one of the latest raft of updates is causing registered and activated CS6 software to revert back to a 30-day trial. First it asks you for the serial number - you type it in and it reports that it's accepted and back to fully licensed mode, only for the trial window to pop up the next day or after a few launches of the CS6 apps!!
Out of our 4 iMacs running CS6, two of them are now asking for serials every day - I'm fully expecting the other 2 to start exhibiting the same behaviour as well.
There are various posts on the Adobe forums about this bug...

http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1119924?tstart=0The prime suspect is the Photoshop 13.0.2 update, (which added support for the Retina displays amongst other things). Adobe's "fix" is to uninstall Photoshop CS6 and reinstall it, but only update to Photoshop 13.0.1 and no later (until they sort this mess out!)...
http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop/kb/tri ... -open.htmlSo far, I've had to enter the serial numbers in 3 days in a row, will report back if this continues, or when Adobe pull their finger out and issue a fix for it. I'm not uninstalling and reinstalling unless I really have to - just don't have the time to do that at the moment. I do wish Adobe would test their patches out properly before rolling them out to paying customers!!
You have been warned.
