Only Vince Cable was against the regulations that Labour put in place. The Tories did not think that the reduction in regulations went far enough. Hindsight is great if you do not have to make the decisions. The new regulations are not going to fix the banks and there will be another banking crisis before long. They need to be tougher but that will mean that the government needs to change its total strategy as everything will be counter to what they are doing now.
