My ar$e! It started coming down just after 11pm in Ryde, and was gone by this morning. Boooooooring!

Quite a bit here in Birmingham. Enough to cover the cars, roads etc. But you can easily clear a route by walking through the snow, so not as much as other places.

I had 6cm on top of Horace this morning and had to dig his front wheels out to get away from the house. Roads weren't too bad once I got to the better populated B roads, but I took the motorway to work this morning, not chancing the country drive. Lots more snow expected this afternoon, apparently the mild front is hitting the freezing front right over the midlands so I will be leaving early this afternoon to get home before it's dark.

A fair bit of snow when I left for work this morning. had to take it gingerly at first. By the time I was half way into Manchester there was no sign of any at all. I suspect the elevation is the major thing.
