Was out clearing the pavement in front of the house at 05:30 this morning... Now a coffee, before I drive to work.

Wow you still have some snow? It melted very rapidly here. I love snow but rarely see it here.

Still got snow all over my garden here in Yorkshire. I'm far too busy 'revising' to go and play in it though D:

Still snowing here, we had about 1cm over night, not much, compared with the south.

Really looking forward to Friday, high of -2 at our house and snow overnight Thursday and all day Friday with lows of -8.

Indeed, forecast for Friday sounds a bit serious. Plus it's inside the 'three days in advance' threshold where weatherguessers actually start getting vaguely accurate. Might be advised to assume not much travelling being possible over the weekend (i.e. go get some perishables before then).

If the temperature drops too low, our water pipes upstairs freeze which means no upstairs shower. Keep meaning to get it looked at. Usually is fine in the evenings so will need to switch to showering before bed.

We're on a borehole and the pump froze last year when it was -12. I can plug a small radiator in the cupboard it's in though if it looks like it will happen again.

High of 3°C in Cardiff and lows of -1°C. Positively tropical. 8-)

The forecast for the week here is around zero, but it is only forecast to snow on Saturday and only light snow at that. The ground will probably be still too warm for it to settle.
