Might have to have a look...

I'll read the article in full later, but I imagine it doesn't apply to things like tablets ;)

According to their website at the moment, you can get discounts on two tablets both made by Arnova. Also 5 blu-ray discs for £30

That is a great deal. Though this looks like a clearance sale to me.

That's what those meant! I was wondering when I was there yesterday. thankfully I didn't buy anything.
I used to go to the HMV on oxford st for lunch because they didn't play music and I like quietness. Now they blare stuff out so I just dash in and out, buying less :(

As long as you paid with a credit card you should be okay. Debit cards would make you another unsecured creditor with little likelihood of getting anything back. There may be a £100 threshold but I am not so sure.

A 25% off sale might just about bring them into line with the competition.

Rumours abound that the film and music industry are rallying to find a solution, because they want a dedicated high street outlet for their products. So a high street chain under threat of closure, due to inability to change with the times is going to be championed by two industries that are equally out of step.

Brilliant.

Doesn't he still exist as part of a record label somewhere? I feel sure the HMV brand still exists as a label within one of the multinationals.

Nope, the prices are still laughable.

Even if you got it dirt cheap and scaled it right back I reckon you'd still struggle :?
