Having been told by the parents that my boxed Slave I toy from the 80s has been rediscovered, I'm now looking at prices on eBay...

Drove the boat back from a dive today and my group was met at the boat ramp by two hot Red Bull girls in a liveried Mini. They dished out loads of cans and then left.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Anybody had any luck with accessing the mew Megaupload replacement service yet?
It keeps timing out for me.

I think you need to wait 3 hours, and even then it's likely to be flaky.

Right. Cheers, JJ. I thought it was supposed to go live today, not tomorrow. *shrug*

It's open for business now. Cue 502 bad gateway error.

Just got home from an awesome night out.
The Computers (who are an ace band) played a small gig (I mean about 20 of us) in a friends tattoo parlour.
It was loud. It was rock n roll. It was awesome.

I had slightly more luck today. I registered, but when I confirm it says "oops! there was an error"

If I try and log in it says the password is wrong.

If I try to re-register, it says the email address is already used.

I can't see a "reset password" button.

It went very very well. I only had a few  damn you diabetes! !! But my workplace and my wifes school are benefiting from an avalanche of cakes lol
I have so many brownie points at the moment for getting it

My account is now working, but the servers seem overloaded. It peaks at about 5k but then goes to nothing:

:edit: OK it went eventually. I then did a 1K project which took about 10 minutes to finish too! It'll take me years to back up my stuff at this rate, but I expect it will improve. Or die.

There is no 'reset password' option. The system uses the password you set at account creation to create an encryption key which it then uses to encrypt your data. The data is therefore tied to the password you set and without it the data can't be decrypted. So how can you unencrypt the data to tie it to anew password if you don't know the password already? Catch-22.

It does seem to be buggered though. I've created two accounts and both times it's appeared to have worked only to claim I'm using the wrong password when I try to log in a second time. I know for a fact I'm not. Frankly right now the whole thing appears to be more a fishing exercise for email addresses than anything useful.
