Morning all.

Overnight snow doesn't appear to have landed in Peterborough, in fact this part of Cambridgeshire seems to have gotten off very lightly all round.
Having said that we did get let out of work early due to the snow yesterday.

Have a great day folks.

Went into the Osnatel office today, the installation went fine, but nobody came to check the connection and nobody phoned to ask if there were any problems. Technically first class, but it is missing that final touch to make the experience perfect.

I said that the connection was a bit faster than expected. He said they always turn the connection speed up a bit higher than is paid for, to ensure that you get "at least" what you pay for - there are exceptions, where the cable run is too long to achieve the quoted maximum speed, but where possible, they like to exceed the quoted maximum... Now that is what I call service.

Morning all,

I've been awake for almost an hour, and have decided that today IS the day that I decide what I want to be when I grow up... Let the planning commence!

ION, it's just occurred to me that I have no idea how long it is since I had my last cigar. Note that I didn't say "since I stopped smoking". If I want one I'll have one, but I'm on the e-cigs at the moment and it's working so I'll leave it at that for now.

OK, I've got to go now before I get caught up in another day of forum trawling, so until next time...

Have a great day everyone.

:)

Well, as it's now snowing here in Chatham, the forecast is either six hours late or six hours early. Snow forecast last night didn't arrive, so I guess it's late. We've had nearly two centimetres in the past hour.

I had a photowalk organised round a local village for today. I've had to call it off at the last minute.

Looks like the slush froze last night and it's snowing again.

I think I'll leave going out for diesel for another day.

Morning all.

Rather cold last night so I expect the snow and slush to have frozen into some joyous death trap on the pavements and roads.

Have a great day folks.

Morning all,

Must be time of the month for our IT system, if it's letting me access the FPOTD thread. A rare occurrence indeed.

One of my staff found the only bit of the car park that wasn't fully gritted, and did a half pike with one and a half twists. Thankfully, she wasn't hurt and changed into some suitable footwear.

Have a good one.

Morning all!

Big cheese visit today - must be on best behaviour - as such I have swapped my mug. I am now sporting a Tetris Thermochromic mug instead of the one that says "Tell someone who gives a sh!t"

Have a good one
