This Sunday, I believe.

(checks)

Yep, Sunday at 8PM. "Jeremy attempts to build a car even smaller than the Peel P50 (that he drove round the BBC in) and tests it out n the streets of London."

It could be a variation of the wheelchairs that they modified last year.

The Loose Women bit is priceless. She talks about role models when half that panel any day of the week are self-confessed slappers, oohing and ahhing at almost nude male models on daytime TV. But anyway, it's really an excuse to post Top Gear stuff and get hits, since they've got very little to do with her suspect story...

Yes but the audience it is aimed at is mainly male. If it were any other program it might be a valid complaint. The article looks more like an anti BBC rant rather than an objective critic of the show, with a rant about inequality of pay between the celebrity genders. It actually becomes even more a matter of the market driving the pay.

Just because it's aimed at a mainly male audience does not make it OK to have overtly sexist content.

I do accept that but it is still not as bad as Loose Women which is worse in that respect. Top Gear does not criticise women drivers as much as thy might. They insult everyone including entire nationalities. There are plenty of women in the audience at Top Gear and that is a sign that they enjoy the show as well. The team would be stupid to alienate half the potential public, though they do push the gender stereotypes a bit far.

So, the airbrushed images depicting impossibly perfect women in her magazines were acceptable to her, but Top Gear is is sexist?

Hmm, article designed to increase page hits, methinks.
