The Austrian Muslim community wants to sue Lego for producing an "educationally reprehensible" model of the Hagia Sophia mosque in Instanbul and filling it with "evil characters".
The model in question? The Jaba the Hut's Palace from the Episode 6.
Whilst Lego claim that it is based entirely on the design of the Palace from the film and has no intentional likeness to the mosque, that isn't good enough for the Austrian muslim communinty, they want the product banned.
They claim it is educationally explosive and sedition against the muslim community.
Whilst Lego say that the model is based on George Lucas' film set, the Community claims that it is a 1-1 copy of the Hagia Sopia and the tower looks like a minaret. They also claim, that the characters in the building are heavily armed (guns, rocket launchers etc.) and represents the Muslim faith as potentially violent.
The figure in the minaret is a "criminal with axe and machine gun," not to mention Jabba himself, the worm-like, water pipe smoking master of the house! In the Star Wars universe, he is after all, a terrorist, slave trader and murderer.
Lego released a press statement, saying that they find it regretful, that the Muslim community feels attacked by this model, which is not based on any non-fictional building, people or the mentioned mosque. In addition, Lego feel themselves commited to producing the models of the Star Wars sets as accurately as possible to the film originals. In other words, if the Muslim community wants to sue somebody, they should bloody well start with Lucasfilm! (My translation, not the original Lego wording.)
