I am thinking of getting one of these. So I wanted to know if anyone had experience of these and what they are like. I do not mind if your comments are about previous versions.

Well I won one in an auction from eBay for £36 so will soon decide if it is worth it. 8-)

Sure. I got it mainly for the macro lens which will be very useful when I start photographing everything with my remote Home Inventory app.

It arrived today. The macro lens is very good but the focal length is between 10 and 15mm so you get very close to the item but it works very well. Overall though my expectations for using it are over optimistic. It will be very handy for identifying faults with my possessions as I catalogue them. I do not have any other Macro lens so I am happy with it. The Wide Angle lens is pretty good as well. Slipping it on and off you can clearly see the increase in what will actually be recorded. The Fish Eye lens is also clearly displayed but I wonder how often I will use it.

There are a few apps in the store that let you control focus and exposure hot spots separately. Camera+ is one such app. It’s surprising how close the lens can focus without much outside assistance. The (quick and dirty) image below was taken with Camera+ using the separate focus and exposure tools. I had the stabilisation feature on. No post processing - straight from the camera to you.

I already have Camera+ as it was recommended somewhere. So I really should look at it again.
