Morning.

Got up earlier than usual, because I was supposed to go and get a blood test, followed by a trip to the osteopath. Took one look out of the window and decided the blood test could wait another week.

Still got to go to the osteopath, though. :(

Nearly Friday, and February!

Afternoon all.

Heavy rain appears to have given way to wind that can blow you sideways and seems to coming straight from Siberia.

Have a great day folks.

Morning all.

Looks like I made it to the end of the week.
What are the chances of a quiet weekend to relax?

Morning

Veeeerrryy tired today. I was tempted to ring the boss and blag a leave day at zero notice, then Alyson opened the blinds and ruined the moment; so there was little point in staying in bed. :(

Morning

Got my new toy today –Nexus 10 tablet

Now want to go home to play with it as the boss (for some strange reason) doesn’t agree that sitting at my desk and playing with my tablet counts as work – I said “I am at my desk so surely that is good enough – its what you do” didn’t seem to go down to well

Morning all.

Landlord coming over to have a look at the smoke detectors. Both say they should be replaced by Feb 2013 so I'm waiting for him to try and wriggle out of replacing them.
On the plus side, it looks like a rather nice if cold day outside.

Have a great day folks.

Afternoon all,

busy morning, repaired the fence; part of the fence was blown away in the storm this week, so we had to move the rest around to fill up the hole. Typical, the middle section blew away. The fence acts as wind protection and a bit of privacy in the lounge (blocks the view from the street).

Then hung up a picture, opened the roller shutter casing, as the shutter was making a loud cracking noise as it came down. Turned out to be some sticky, glue like material which was causing the shutter to stick to itself as it rolled down and then made a loud crack as it sprung apart.

Now defrosting the freezer, the door wasn't shut properly, again, so we've had to throw out several kilos of meat and vegetables. :(

Afternoon all.

Setting up a webcam so I can Skype my brother in South America. Can record pictures and sound so it just remain to be seen if it plays nicely in Skype this evening.
On the other hand I really don't like how I sound in the recordings but I guess most people don't.

Have a great day folks.

Morning all.

Well it's Monday and I'm at work. Obviously not the best start to a week.

Lo.

I can't get this web site project moving. Not even the prospect of a decent invoice at the end of it livens my design buds. I really need to sit down, crack on with it and remind the client they're supposed to be sending me some content.

The first thing my bleary eyes saw this morning as I peered out the bedroom window was a cloud shaped like a pig. Not sure if that's supposed to mean anything.

Onwards and sideways.
