I've got it recorded on my PC. If it's not on iPlayer by the time you get back, let me know & I'll ship it to you somehow.

A really good episode all round I thought. Mick Fleetwood made for an excellent guest (although I do very much like Fleetwood Mac so may be a little biased).

The dicking around / stupidity was actually funny this time, and struck me as being the sort of thing they'd actually get up to naturally on such a trip were the cameras not actually there. I think my biggest gripe was the colour of that Aston Martin; it looked ruddy awful, which for such a naturally pretty car is quite an achievement.

I know, think how nice it'd look in racing green...

Incidentally, is it just me, or is the new fiesta entirely ripping off Aston's signature grill design?

I liked that shade of blue on it.

As far as the Fiesta goes, well, there's only so many shapes you can stick on the front of a car.
And given the number of rules manufacturers have to follow these days, it's hardly surprising that some are gravitating towards a sort of bland average.

Take, for instance, the 2008 Jag XK.

Now, it's not as striking as your example with the Fiesta, but...

And that's one reason I like older cars with a bit of a personality.

Thank's for that.
I can't download it here as the rig internet connection is way too slow for that.

Nope, the Mondeo had it on Top Gear (and the Focus too IIRC), I guess it's related to the period Ford owned AM

It tarnishes the AM brand from the grill being copied to every other Ford car. Stupid decision.

I think that they were sold to a private buyout. There may have been middle east money from memory, but not sure without googling.

Yes they are independent of Ford and have been since 2007.

I know JC normally comes out with loads of [LIFTED] but I had to agree on his town center shopping predicament answer (well most of it).

We currently find it almost impossible to go into our town centers to do to a bit of shopping without having to pay a fortune for parking and not forgetting the hassle getting into town in the first place with bus lanes, restricted access, restricted parking etc.

Town councils need to have a rethink and possible reverse there long term plans on reducing car volumes if they want to keep their town centers alive.
