Call me an old curmudgeon, but what with all the sh!t going on in the world, wanting to build something that can destroy a whole planet seems a bit extreme. I'm sure twenty mills would be better spent on something less aggressive.

Just because it can, doesn't mean that it will. Also, that bit of functionality doesn't really have to be present. Just creating a space station like that would be cool enough, in my opinion. Mark

I don't see the point of this. Wasn't there a response from the White House along the lines of: Which means that £20m is a paltry sum and even all the money in the world couldn't build it. _________________ He fights for the users.

Money goes around; it never runs out. It would just take us a long time is all. Probably a billion years or so, although as technology improves that time would come down.
