Hmmm.. thought I'd like the white version but it really needs the front to be white as well. The half-and-half doesn't look so good.

I've never understood the attraction of white phones (of any brand).

I don't especially like white either, but when it would actually suit, I inevitably wind up with black :(

White laptop with black keys would be good, white PS3 and pad (would be bought only I use grips on mine anyway), white cables for just about everything, white memory devices... I don't give a sh1t about how it looks really, I want visibility in my room!

There is the advantage that you could stick it in a shirt pocket and it would be harder to notice. It would be more discrete. It also makes it easier to find, though not so much if you have a lot of paper all about. It does get grubbier quicker though when clean looks better.

I never thought of that. Mainly because I don't have to wear a shirt for work. Even if I did, I'd still prefer a black phone.

I have a Black iPhone and it looks fine. I do not bother with a case most of the time. It still looks good, though it makes no difference if you put it into a case.

I've never bothered with a case. I had my last phone for almost three years, and I don't think there was a single scratch on the screen.
(All credit to gorilla glass).

Wireless charger for N4 available in US Play store, $59.99 + tax so I guess £60 once it is available in the UK. Crazy money if you ask me...

That doesn't look significantly more convenient than a cheap dock.

I demand things that charge in my pocket! Er, madam... No seriously, I'm willing to accept potentially harmful consequences if I can just get rid of fcuking wires

A little pricey but the fact that it is an inductive charger is handy. Though the link said no other parts so does the nexus have an induction plate built in?

Yes, wireless charging is standard for N4.

In which case it is a good accessory. The fact that you could put it on your desk, charge the phone all while using it.
