'There's a bug. Some people are trying to fix it.' Wow. Thanks for that.

Just out of interest, since the bug was with the Apple software to which the carriers are not privy, how exactly would you have worded their press release if it were up to you?

I could understand criticising Apple for not being more vocal about their bug, but I really can't see what more the carriers could do than saying "Apple are trying to fix it".

And they have now, so drama over.

An irrelevant question. I'm not paid to do their PR.

How about an exact list of what the symptoms are for a start, rather than 'some people might be seeing some problems'.

Really? I haven't seen a system update.

They didn't say "some problems". The symptoms stated were "Some customers may occasionally experience difficulty in connecting to the network to make or receive calls or texts or to connect to the Internet". I really don't see how much more exact you can be about an intermittent problem. If it only effected customers in EC2 at 4pm on a Tuesday, they would probably have said so. Except it didn't last a week, so they would never have picked up the pattern...
