I'm stunned. I'm really sorry to hear that. 12 years is practically forever - certainly all the time I've known you. I hope it's a reasonably amicable process, although if you're thinking about divorce then it's unlikely to be simple. Good luck.

nah, what I was trying to get at, I meant as in people in age group of over 30+ tend to be comfortable? in their current relationship/marriage etc, correct if wrong of course comparing to people in 20's where I see people having new partners literally every month

Well, that sounds about right. I'm 37 now and the prospect of suddenly becoming single and living on my own is really quite scary. JJ, divorce and selling the house. Thanks everyone for the support. Life is, in the words of the Kinks "a mixed-up muddled-up shook-up world". Mark PS - I'm not really ready to fully open up and talk about this, so to those people that've sent PMs, I've read them but please don't think I'm ignoring you. There's a lot of hurt just now and it's not easy for either of us.

reminds me of something someone said, that lifes downfalls is like a scar, keep picking at the scar(downfall) and it will deepen and worsen etc, but if you leave the scar be etc, then it will gradually heal over time. I take it you and jenny? are still gonna be friends? or is it appropiate to ask that? ignore me if it isint etc as I got no clue

I suspect that it will be impossible to answer, and it's a question for the future.

Mark had intimated the news to me a while ago. It still sucks.

I still haven't quite managed to take it all in. Everyone here seems to be going through rubbishness. Hope everyone gets through their issues with minimal collateral taken. Edd
