Morning all.

Forecast for the weekend actually looks quite promising. Lets hope it's not all lies as per usual.
Have a great day folks.

Morning all, trying to use the tablet this weekend, to see if it would work as a replacement for my desktop computer at work.

The idea would be to have it docked and work as a normal Windows PC at the desk, then taken as a tablet into meetings for not taking, checking appointments etc.

Will have to see if that is practical. The old Samsung model is a bit heavy, compared to the current generation, but Windows 8 is great on a tablet. The question is, how practical is the desktop side...

The main point being, I don't want to waste money on buying a tablet and a new laptop. If I am going to have a tablet at all, then it must be usable for everything I do, plus being "tablet portable" on top.

Morning all.

Back at work, roads are quiet due to half term but so is my workforce so I'm here for at least 10 hours today.

Missus & kids are off to the in-laws for a few days so in theory I can catch up on sleep however I expect this just means I'll be in the pub.

Morning all

Busy day today. I have a job interview at 1 and then at 3 I have a meeting to see if I get made redundant from my current job. I hope I do.

Morning all.

Slight hangover his morning.

I think I'll pop over the road and get bread so I can make a couple of bacon sandwiches to sort myself out

Morning.

I think this morning will involve numerous phone calls, some time on the workbench, and so time enjoying the sunshine.

This afternoon will see me begin sorting and captioning 700 images from yesterday's shoot at RHS Wisley. :|

Morning. Car insurance renewal came through last night, so the annual merry-go-round starts again.

I'd have killed for a bacon sandwich this morning. Instead I was good and had toast. Not really feeling the love for being virtuous this morning.

I'm shattered this morning. The cat's been ill because of a reaction to the antibiotics she's had to take so I was up several times in the night to clear up sick. Wonderful. I'd better get a coffee underway or I'm not going to get much done.

Did you go specifically to see the Butterfly Exhibition, or was it just a general visit?

Morning.

A resurgence of the cold I thought I had beaten earlier this week sees me feeling a bit under the weather. It also makes it unpleasant working in the modelling spray booth, as a sore throat, runny nose and face mask isn't the best combination. Good job it's too cold up there for any serious painting anyway.

Osteopath today, then to acquire some cellulose thinners to strip some paint that went a bit Pete Tong in yesterday's session.

Onwards and snuffleways.

Morning all,

It's... bracing out there this morning. Not quite as bad in the centre of the island, where I work, but I live on the coast and I swear the wind could through steel.

On the plus side, the school half term holiday means the roads are blissfully quiet.
