Lo. Gah. Ack. Gnn. Hmph. Happy March, everyone. Another year appears to be zipping by at a rate of knots that would impress Captain Picard. I always feel I should be doing something constructive, but by the time I get my sorry @rse into gear, it's ruddy Christmas all over again.  I feel some decisions need to be made today. Youngest daughter is moving out, but is in the school, so it is down to us to pack the rest of her things and dismantle the furniture in her room, ready for it to be packed into the van tomorrow.
I had thought about doing other things with my free day, hey ho...
On the plus side, using the tablet. Charged it up Wednesday afternoon and it is still over 80% full and the keyboard dock is excellent for typing on the forum, then unplugging to read on the couch.

Greetings.
I spent yesterday stripping paint from a model, where the thinners didn't quite manage to do the job properly the first time. (Read "I c0cked up".)
Later today, I shall embark on a big adventure. I shall board the Number 176 bus, and ride it to Medway Maritime Hospital. I shall see a specialist about my bones (must remember to take a pee sample...) then get on the bus and come home again.
Such an exciting life I lead.
Onwards and sideways.

I survived the bus journey - and even got the exact same bus back again, same driver and everything.
Anyway, it turns out I am definitely deficient in vitamin D. I am ordered to take a daily supplement, so today's task is to find a suitable provider that doesn't involve trekking to the nearest high street or shopping centre.
In other news, Best Beloved managed, goodness knows how, to force a USB plug upside down into a socket on a hub. The hub is now kaput, and we will have to take it back to PCs'R'Us to get it replaced under warranty.
Onwards and sideways.
