http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21627614Just in case you missed it... I'm paying O2 £6.25 a month , so we'll have to see how this plays out... what do you folks make of Sky broadband? This of course means my fcukwit father could pay one bill to Sky since he has a dish, instead of paying both Sky and BT , but we'll see how that goes too.

If you get a discount on your O2 broadband because you have an O2 mobile phone then I'd expect that to die of death once Sky takes over unless that's covered by whatever deal they've done (I doubt it somehow).

I have the discount for mobile plus 1/2 price broadband for 12 months. Not sure what will happen to it but I am expecting to look for a new ISP in due course. I'll decide that when I get more info.
My old boss has Sky broadband, he lives in Leighton Buzzard and says it is crap.

I am with Sky Broadband and as an internet provider they are fine. No capping or throttling, though it is prone to outages at times. This needs to be blocked because the market is too concentrated as it is.

If they did it well it will probably be fine. I have been with Sky for more than a year, and they deal with problems pretty well. Though with most ISP if they do things well you never need to contact them.
