E.g. Toyota IQ. They'd have been better having two seats and a larger boot.

That would make it an MR2 replacement - like they stopped maiking a few years ago. If they had I would buy one tomorrow.

One can only hope the success of the GT-86 (at least critically, although sales have apparently also been very good) may encourage them to do so. The MR2 was a brilliant car and if they made a 'new' MR2 that was a good as the '86 is, it would be quite something...

While the MR2 was a great little two seat sports car it was seen as a hairdressers car.

Only the MkII. Not the original (and best, in my opinion). Mark

Yes Mk 1 was pretty good. I think someone I know had one, not 100% sure though.

We are getting Top Gear now on Dmax. We have the last series during the week, but on Sunday's they show the older series. Currently watching the race between the Vincent Black Shadow, the XK120 and a steam train.

I do. But I'd rather sit and watch it on the telly, so I'll wait an hour.

Spurious nonsense of course, but fun nevertheless.
There used to be somewhere to get the list of the music they used in every episode, anyone remember what that was? Quite liked one of the tunes they played tonight but got no idea what it was (no, it wasn't Genesis).

Use a song recognition app on the iPlayer showing as a one-off? Though I don't know if they're good enough for a brief TG moment

There's a free iOS app called SoundHound for that on iTunes. There's also another one called Shazam (never used that one, but SoundHound's pretty good)

Shazam is pretty accurate, in my experience. I haven't tried Soundhound.
