Lucky she is so well paid. In the top 5% of UK earners being an MP, even a backbencher.

Though even as an MP she could afford it from her salary. It is good that she was so generous. Though it might be interesting to see how much Cameron and Osbourne gave?

A back bencher earns £65Khttp://www.parliament.uk/about/mps-and-lords/members/pay-mps/
So thats around £3500 pm take home (oh and expenses) so £14K is 4 months salary - very generous
