Pity she didn't stop the breaking of things there, and then hand power over to someone else. Union membership is still a good thing, IMHO.

He was worse. She stood up and challenged people when they had a different view to her. Blair just tired to use his PR machine to mock them so people wouldn't listen. He couldn't win a serious debate if his life depended on it.

Exactly, the fact that we have such low union membership is one reason why we are not as successful as Germany. She was far too adversarial to be a good influence. I live in South Wales. Firstly, you can imagine the general opinion about Thatcher in these parts. Secondly, thank Christ I live under a Labour government which is actually left-leaning and gives a [LIFTED] about the little people.
