I don't even need an exotic beach and a drink with an umbrella in, just some good old fashioned English sunshine. I am starting to feel transparent and as though I've been living in the dark forever.

I need some sunshine!

Steady now. You are turning native! ;)

I feel much the same. I dislike winter at the best of times, but it just won't bugger off to the southern hemisphere. The days are getting longer, but the weather is still cold. It's doin' me nut! :x

You should go to Southend Pier if you haven't been. The longest in the country and maybe the world. You can catch a train to get to the end of it.

+1. Every day I wake up thinking maybe my suede coat and more summery clothes and every day I think brrr no chance! Took my cardigan off not long after I got to the office today but quickly put it back on again.

A big FAT BOOOOOO!

After the worst drought in 50+ years, the long hot summer of 2012/2103 in New Zealand has finally drawn to a close. The sun still has plenty of heat (ozone depletion) when it's out, but the temperatures are fairly cool at night now. I can still manage a day at work in shorts and t-shirt, but have to wear a fleece in the mornings. It doesn't help that central heating and decent insulation are as rare as hens teeth.

My glasses. I put them down somewhere but not sure where. It is not as if I know when I last used them? So will have to do a very thorough search of the flat. I might be some time.

Have you checked the end of your nose?

Yes the problem is that they are rimless and so only have the bits that go over your ears that are easy to see. Problem is that I do not remember where I put them or when I last used them. :?

I have to have a new Win 7 PC. I hate getting new stuff unless it's a mac.

The 'delete' button in Outlook webmail doesn't appear to do what it should.
Either that or that newsletter has been sent three times.

What it was doing here was deleting the next emails while displaying the 'current' one

How I'm work's 'Mr Fix-It'

Broken plastic cover on a phone charger - slid it back into place, worked.

Spilt tea on a personal laptop - bag of rice to draw the moisture out. This seemingly worked for days, then...

Above laptop displays black screen, makes clicky noises - Asus say they want money cos of the obvious spillage, I say put it through Very's extra cover instead and say you think it's the hard drive.

Still got those Lovefilm cards?

Why won't PC games work on my son's laptop... because it's a cheap laptop, Windows Live, GTA is a shambles on PC, and any other number of reasons. Next!

And so on. I'm gonna have to get one of those 'Just fcuking Google it!' T-shirts.

What is age appropriate?
I've just seen a Facebook post by a friend who has tickets for Derren Brown. "Thats *****'s birthday sorted." Her 11 yo daughter. Presumably accompanied, so maybe I shouldn't be such a prude.
