Greetings.

As the days begin earlier, so too the cats. At my age I needs me beauty sleep!

It appears I must venture forth and acquire comestibles today. Cat food and litter seems to be the top priority, then stuff for we hoomins.

Later I shall contemplate a neat design for a small identification plaque to fix under models I'm commissioned to build.

Onwards and sideways.

Afternoon all. Busy morning on the phone to disgruntled (but very polite) customers, so I've missed the 2 minute slot I needed to call the surgery in...

That sounds quite satisfying. A brand new brand! Do you have a logo in mind?

Greetings.

I have a day out at Wisley Gardens with the camera planned for today. I hope the fist and mog clears up by the time we get there. I don't fancy tramping about in the gloom.

The idea is to produce a small plate, probably in etched brass, that I can glue to the underside of a model. It'll have a "brand" mark and a web site, and perhaps room to scratch in a build date. It doesn't need to be very big, no more than 25mm x 15mm. It means if someone examines the model closely - as sometimes happens at exhibitions, for example - they'll know who built/painted it, and gives them a chance to see more of my work.

I'm still working on it. I'll probably scribble some ideas out on the car journey this morning - as I will be a passenger. :D

Morning all

Another day at the office for me. On the plus side I have a wedding to go to next Friday and we've booked a place to stay so I can have a drink or 6 :)

Morning.

Damp today. That'll cheer me up. :?

I had a good day out yesterday, managing to fill 24GB of compact flash cards. When I got home I discovered the disk containing the photo library I wanted to load them into only had 16GB of free space. Luckily I had a redundant hard drive that I could transfer the old library to, which will give it a bit of headroom for a while longer. It took a couple of hours to migrate the old library to its new home, so I went to bed rather later than I'd anticipated.

Happy Friday!

Morning all.

Day off again today. This means I need to go out an buy a new desk for home, then run trunking, build new speaker cables and run some cat 5 so I can put the computer downstairs and reposition all the furniture and speakers.
Then out for a chilli & some beer.

Seriously, I'm I the only one who uses the FPOTD thread at the weekends?
