A mixture of XP Pro SP3 and Win 7. Everyone got upgraded to al least IE8 in order to run the new intranet recently.
As a regulated workplace new software rollouts in the labs, including the OS, have to be validated and this is very much a non-trivial task.
Some of our older hardware is still using Win 95  due to age and validation issues.

At our labs they had to bin some old hardware because it would only run on win 95. It only cost them £250k :-o

I dread to think what 7 brand new liquid scintillation counters would cost.

I just found out today that for some reason I will have to support Excel 95 for the forseeable future.
I rolled my eyes and didn't even bother asking why.

(it's for a handful of people, something to do with an ancient app that can't be thrown away)

What on earth is in Excel 95 that is not in later versions?

If you're going from Office 2010 back to 95 there are huge differences

I am sure that there are. I think Macros were removed from later versions. I was wondering about what other features are missing?
