Why the hell didn't I take this week off? It's a pissy day in every sense and I've got DVD rentals to watch...

Should I take the day off to go watch Star Trek tomorrow?

Does the weather matter? I've no idea what they're forecasting, just asking :)

I dislike emerging from the cinema when it is still daylight. Feels wrong somehow.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

I don't get a choice. The only time I can see a film like star trek is when my boy is at school and my missus is out with her mate for Tuesday lunch.

Take the boy? It's a 12A.
Go with the missus?

Yeah, I'm really going to take a four year old out of school to see a 12A. ;)

You are also saving lots of money, no need to go berserk and buy loads of snacks for all the family as well.

Snack food. I'm expecting guests next weekend.

About half an hour ago I looked up snacks on Wikipedia, and ended up reading about what foreign folk do with pease pudding. Allegedly popular with royalty in ancient china, appearing in Canadian comic books, and this comment about German cuisine most amused me:

"This can be an alarming experience for the unwary tourist"

If they are toys, then this may be the correct course of action.

If they are real ones, then I expect the awesomeness would cancel out any "and exactly how much did that cost" line of interrogation.

They're Force FX replicas that were made years ago. I night my first for 40 quid.
The FX ones are going up in value every year. Unfortunately the Mace Windu purple one was way out of my price range.
