Channel 4 and their ridiculous censoring policy. Not only do they seem to censor any "prostitute" or sexual references in TBBT, they censored part of a line from a Simpsons episode. It's the Malibu Stacy/Lisa Lionheart one and Smithers boots his computer. A message from a nude Burns states: "Hello Smithers, you're quite good at turning me on". They censored all but the first two words. W***ers.

When is this? I remember seeing that episode 'in full' on the Beeb around teatime in the past.

They might be concerned about the little children. Though considering the adult themes of some episodes wouldn't they do better to show those later?

And yet they seem happy to show full frontal nudity on Embarrassing Bodies Live at 8pm, still well before the 9pm watershed. How is a mild sexual reference in a cartoon series somehow worse than a full screen closeup of an actual bloke's c0ck and balls!!? Utterly bizarre.

I suspect that the naked bodies are not sexual to anyone other than a teenager anyway, even if it was on Embarrassing Bodies.

People who aren't geeks getting upset just cos they don't understand what's being said. I don't sit there tutting and rolling my eyes when a chat about football or a new outfit is happening.

It's finally the age of the geek AFAIC and they can fcuking live with it

It's safe as long as it isn't erect. Afterall 50% of the population have one.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

Why isn't it safe otherwise? *curious*

I'm guessing it's some sort of poisonous tine on a fish or somesuch, but I've enjoyed puzzling over it this morning.

The Telegraph is fast becoming more annoying than the Daily Wail. I've had to post in the comments section.

Yes I have to confess that while it is a good paper I will not be paying to see behind the paywall.

Why does SafariSyncClient take up so much resources? It has stalled my machine for 20 minutes while it is doing what it does.

Well I did a google search and spent the night disconnecting the iCloud and cleaning out the bookmarks and restarting everything back up again and the everything is running nicely again. Though I might have to look at Safari Web Content now.

Our current water usage (2 people) is circa 130 litres/day.

Initially it sounds like quite a lot. But after seeing the average bands for homes in the Auckland region it isn't so bad at all.

1 person household - 135-224 l/day
2 person household - 225-401 l/day
3 person household - 402-555 l/day

So not only do we not fall into the 2 person household band, we are actually beneath the 1 person household lower limit.
