Our current water usage (2 people) is circa 130 litres/day.

Initially it sounds like quite a lot. But after seeing the average bands for homes in the Auckland region it isn't so bad at all.

1 person household - 135-224 l/day
2 person household - 225-401 l/day
3 person household - 402-555 l/day

So not only do we not fall into the 2 person household band, we are actually beneath the 1 person household lower limit.

I hate our water bills because they round up to the nearest 1000 litres. I use about 1.5 tonnes a quarter, or 15 litres per day. It still costs hundreds of pounds...

I've no idea how much water we use at home.
At work I can get through 3,000 m3 (3,000,000 litres) in a single shift.

Channel 4 and their ridiculous censoring policy. Not only do they seem to censor any "prostitute" or sexual references in TBBT, they censored part of a line from a Simpsons episode. It's the Malibu Stacy/Lisa Lionheart one and Smithers boots his computer. A message from a nude Burns states: "Hello Smithers, you're quite good at turning me on". They censored all but the first two words. W***ers.

To add to this, currently watching TBBT. They're still filtering any prostitute type references but haven't done anything about "penis", "orgasm", and sex.

Just be thankful you have a job, I don't at the moment - yes, I moaned about the job at the time, but looking back I perhaps should have appreciated it more. I'd have still got screwed over though!

I know, and I have no idea what else I'd wanna do, but the job would be tolerable if the place wasn't filled with petty, boring fcukers.

Working all weekend on an office restructure. Definitely leaving on time tonight and I'm going to try and have a relaxed evening!

What's on my mind right now is that my other half has dropped our Canon Ixus digital camera into a jug of hot chicken stock while moving things around in the kitchen. Unsurprisingly I got the blame for 'leaving it there.' I've removed the battery and memory card but I think the chances of it working again are very slim indeed.

Of work? They might stop the payments ;)

No, I'm not about to move out and screw myself over financially and, you know, washing and ironing!

Mystery Tour? Odds on Bergen if you are in the oil industry. If it is Bergen let me know what hotels you recommend there? I am planning to a trip there to see an old friend next year.
