It's like when you get a cold you are told to look after yourself but say you are going to bed and you get scorn.
Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
Stupid people are stupid.

I get my sleep but not in one go. Usually in small doses throughout the day.

Sleep is something that's vital to me. I can have one or two crap nights but any more than that and I'm at the mercy of my immune system.

During sleep is when the body repairs itself that's why when you're ill doctors say get some rest. They don't mean put your feet up in front of the TV. I always go to bed when really ill.

Can't sleep so watching digitalRev channel on youtube. Then stumbled across vistaclues channel/Tony Northrup. Only watched half the video but he's already convinced me why FF is better than APS-C.

Im on a [LIFTED] thirteen hour night shift tonight. Bloody clocks just went back one hour as we've moved into UK waters from Norway.

Will you get paid for it?

Exactly the same as I'd get paid for going my normal 12 hour shift, or a 16 hour shift for that matter.
I'm paid by the day for being on the rig (plus my monthly salary). The amount of work I do in that day isn't an issue pay wise.

Not so bad if you do both times when the clocks change, because you will get paid for 12 hours and only work for 11 hours. At least you get a salary as well so that helps even it out.

Just debating when to go to sleep. I have moved all my chores to tomorrow (Monday) from Tuesday and so will need to be awake for that but have only been up an hour, and so not tired enough to sleep yet. I have started making some trifle to finish tomorrow, so not much else to do tonight apart from listen to podcasts.

Just made myself a pint mug of hot chocolate and I'm about to open a packet of Bournville Biscuits.
Tasty noms.

It appears you like your hot chocolate just as much as I do mine. (8+)
